Everyone has numerous lymph nodes in the abdomen (stomach area) that eliminate impurities. Lymph nodes grow in inflammation (Crohn’s disease) and cancer (colon cancer, prostate cancer, uterine cancer). If lymph nodes grow, then an underlying cancer (e.g., lymphoma) should be ruled out.
