Artificial Intelligence

AI technologies in medicine open up new perspectives that can significantly improve examination results and treatment success.

AI (artificial intelligence) has been used successfully in radiology and nuclear medicine for many years. AI makes it possible to analyse examinations much better. AI was and is a milestone in diagnostic imaging.

New algorithms – developed exclusively by the international scientific community – are constantly being approved for use in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the EU AI Act. This means that new measurement results are constantly being made available to support medical judgement.

The advantages for patients

Patients can expect one thing above all from the wide range of imaging procedures: more certainty for their health and optimal treatment decisions. Thanks to modern therapies – and not least the use of AI – it is now possible to survive for many years with previously fatal diseases.

The Radiology Centre is committed to the principles of digital humanism. This excludes the potential dangers of AI and guarantees the security of data protection for patients.

By optimally integrating AI analyses into established care processes, the Radiology Centre offers:

  • improved results and optimised services
  • Simplified data access in dialogue with specialists
  • opportunities for patients to participate in the process

Findings can be generated more easily, quickly, safely and accurately and previously unavailable interdisciplinary and holistic diagnoses can be utilised.

In this context, it is important to emphasise that every AI-generated finding component is interpreted accordingly by our scientifically trained and practically skilled medical specialists. This means: no computerised findings without a specialist check!

Here at the Radiology Centre, AI is always integrated into diagnostic processes where it makes sense and is necessary during the design, planning and implementation stages. So if you have examinations carried out at the Radiology Centre, you can assume that AI technologies are also involved.
